Blue are heading towards what could be their fourth Number 1 album and their first chart topper in almost 23 years with Reflections.

The band’s seventh studio release would give Lee Ryan, Duncan James, Simon Webbe and Antony Costa their first Number 1 since 2003’s Guilty. More than two decades on, the group are now aiming to return to the very top of the charts once again.

Close behind them are indie rock favourites The Cribs, who are challenging strongly with Selling A Vibe at Number 2. The Wakefield brothers are chasing their first ever Number 1 and are currently on track for the highest chart position of their career. Their previous peaks came with Ignore the Ignorant in 2009 and 24 7 Rock Star S**t in 2017, both of which reached Number 8.

As a result, Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving opens the week at Number 3, after holding the Number 1 spot throughout the early weeks of 2026.

South London band Dry Cleaning are also enjoying a strong showing, with their third album Secret Love heading for a Top 5 debut at Number 4. If it holds, the release would match the group’s best ever performance alongside their 2021 debut New Long Leg.

American rock group Alter Bridge are also on course for success, with their new self titled album sitting at Number 5. The record could become their sixth Top 10 entry in the UK.

Country star Zach Bryan is targeting a personal milestone with With Heaven On Top, currently placed at Number 6. If it remains there, it would mark his first ever Top 10 album in the UK.

Elsewhere, Australian artist The Kid Laroi is aiming for a second Top 20 album as BEFORE I FORGET tracks at Number 12.

Further down the chart, Oasis’s Definitely Maybe is climbing steadily, rising three places midweek to Number 26, while David Bowie’s Legacy continues its return to the Top 40 following the tenth anniversary of his death and is currently positioned at Number 28.

Finally, after announcing his upcoming album The Romantic due in February, Bruno Mars could see renewed interest in his 2010 debut Doo Wops and Hooligans. The album is on course to re enter the Top 40 for the first time since April 2022, jumping an impressive 48 places to Number 36 midweek.
