Katseye have withdrawn from Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival just two days before the event begins.

The group revealed that vocalist Megan Meiyok Skiendiel had injured her ankle, leaving them unable to take the stage.

Sharing an update through Instagram, the band wrote, "We're so incredibly sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday.

"Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour. We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there."

The first Daisy Chain Fields will be held in Irvine, California, on Saturday, with Rodrigo leading a lineup entirely made up of female artists. Chappell Roan, Doechii, Rachel Chinouriri, The Breeders, Garbage, Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan are also scheduled to appear. Every dollar raised will go toward organisations assisting women and girls.

"We were especially excited for Daisy Chain Fields because it's not just about music, but the greater mission of joy and community," Katseye’s message continued.

"We're sending all our love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organisations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special."

The cancellation is another challenge for the act. Sophia announced in August 2025 that she was pausing her group commitments to concentrate on her mental health. Manon then began her own hiatus in February, reducing Katseye’s active lineup to four members.

Alternative pop singer and songwriter Devon Again will replace the group on the Daisy Chain Fields bill.
