It’s been some time since dvsn’s last release, but their new tracks show they’ve still got their signature touch.

Fresh from signing with Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def Recordings under HYBE, dvsn have returned with two brand-new singles, Excited and Love On You. It’s been a while since the duo last released music, but Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 prove they haven’t lost any of their skill when it comes to songwriting and production.

The first track, Excited, finds the Working On My Karma artists leaning into a sultry and intimate vibe. Slow-burning drums pair with a warped vocal sample, while soaring synths and subtle flourishes give the song extra lift. Even with the added touches, the melody remains the star of the show. It’s a straightforward approach, but one that highlights exactly what fans love most about dvsn, much like their contributions to Home For The Holidays 2.

On the other hand, Love On You takes a lighter and more buoyant direction. Driven by bass-heavy staccato synths, airy chords, and falsetto vocals, it offers a breezy contrast to Excited. The track also benefits from background vocalists who add depth to its easy-going melody, making the release a tender yet refreshing return to the duo’s signature sound.

Looking ahead, anticipation is high for what dvsn and Jermaine Dupri will create together, especially after showing strong chemistry on previous collaborations. While Dupri didn’t have a direct hand in these two singles, the label move opens up plenty of exciting possibilities. Whether a full album is following or just more standalone tracks, fans have reason to stay tuned.
