Borders are open, live music is back and the K-pop touring cycle is in full swing. Stars including aespa, RIIZE and (G)I-DLE are touring the world with new tunes in tow – and hitting Asia very soon.

While some of those artists are staging their own headline shows, others are on the line-ups of music festivals with both multi-genre and Hallyu-only line-ups. The announcements have been coming thick and fast of late so NME‘s decided to help with a handy list of K-pop concerts and music festivals in Asia for 2024.

Following their ‘Prom Queens’ Asia tour in 2023 and the release of their mini-album ‘I’VE MINE’, top rookie girl group IVE are setting off on their first-ever world tour. The sextet will be touring Asia from January to early March next year before heading to the US and Europe, before returning in July for shows in Hong Kong and Manila.

Stray Kids have finally announced their massive ‘dominATE’ world tour just before they are set to make their long-awaited comeback with a new mini-album, ‘ATE’. The eight-piece dropped dates and stops for the tour’s first leg, set to kick off this August and continue for the rest of the year into 2025 with shows in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia and more. Information about ticketing has yet to be announced by the respective organisers.

The SHINee soloist has announced a four-stop tour of Asia planned for the coming year, with a show in Bangkok to kick off the brief tour in mid July, until the tour officially concludes in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung in mid-August. Ticketing information for existing stops have yet to be announced, while it currently remains unclear if Key has any plans to expand the tour to various other cities.

2024 ‘HEREH’ world tour encore concert – Seoul

Ahead of her next album, IU has finally announced her massive, first-ever world tour. The singer will kick off the tour with two weekends of shows in Seoul, before heading to Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta and Hong Kong in the following months, playing two shows at each stop.

Between shows in Europe and the US, she will also head to Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Osaka. She will then be returning to Seoul for two nights of encore concerts in order to wrap the tour up.

2024 ‘Lonsdaleite [dot]’ encore concert – Seoul

The EXO vocalist has recently announced a two-night encore show dubbed ‘Lonsdaleite [dot]’, coming shortly after he wrapped up his Asia tour just last weekend with a two-night show in Bangkok. South Korean singer Jun. K, best known as a member of boyband 2PM, has announced that he will be embarking on a solo tour this year. Epik High recently announced their 2024 ‘The Pump’ world tour, which is scheduled to kick off with a brief Asian leg in late June before the veteran hip-hop trio head for an expansive North American leg from late August onwards. According to the band’s announcement, there are more Asian stops to be announced at a later stage. Tickets can be purchased at epikhigh.com.

The Brave Entertainment boyband recently announced the first three and only Asian stops for their upcoming ‘Dark Strange’ world tour, which is slated to kick start in August with their first show in Seoul, followed up by shows in Tokyo and Taiwan. The boyband will also be heading to the Americas and Europe following these Asian stops, however a detailed list has yet to be announced.
