Adonis Kashe’s holiday week is off to a great start. From radio interviews to chart listens, the artist’s music is ramping up for a strong beginning to the new year. “Next year’s going to be that blueprint on the ground,” says the artist of everything he’s lining up.
Adonis Kashe’ is no stranger to success—and he’s just getting started. His latest single, “Go Head Try It,” hit half a million streams on Spotify in less than a month after its release. Up next? The artist doesn’t have small goals; he’s all about dreaming big. From the Grammy Awards to SXSW, the big venues call his name and he’s not stopping until he graces the stage at every major award show.
Adonis Kashe’ was born for the stage. From theatre arts to drumming in bands, Adonis Kashe’ has been an entertainer since youth. The Philly native relocated to southwest Houston at a young age, tearing up both the stage and field as he honed his singing techniques alongside his football skills.
Winning talent shows year after year, the young performer was voted “Most Likely to Be a Superstar” by his high school class. He signed his first contract in the 9th grade and began writing music—much of which was uncredited—for other artists. Once he was accepted into varsity choir, he left football behind to become a full-time entertainer.
While dabbling with genres and collaborators, Adonis Kashe’ realized it was time to make his own sound. “I wanted to live in peace, innovate. The world needs a new cadence anyway,” says Kashe’ of his realization. He’s a firm believer of going “where the wind blows,” and, in his case, it’s to music success.
These days, Adonis Kashe’ works with his own team of producers—“shout out to T Berry!”—to stay true to his unique sound. “People think I’m crazy, but hey—I’m a genius.”
On the horizon for Adonis Kashe’ is a handful of releases from music videos to “new ear candy” set for an early 2022 release. Backed by his label, Spunxk-N-Roll, the artist is ready to start the new year right. But the question is—are you ready for Adonis Kashe’?
