Season six of Fox's The Masked Singer is well underway, but the contest will move forward without its canine friend.

On Wednesday night’s episode, a new group of singers strutted their stuff, including Queen of Hearts, Mallard, Cupcake, Dalmatian, and the tandem act, Banana Split.

The Dalmatian sang "Beautiful" by Snoop Dogg feat. Pharrell Williams. But it was not this dawg’s day.

The spotted canine turned out to be none other than Tyga, the Grammy-nominated rapper.

When asked why he chose to give it a go on The Masked Singer, Tyga had a good response. "I saw Lil Wayne do it. It just inspired me, you know what I'm saying?"

He didn’t get a bite at the Golden Ear trophy, though Tyga has enjoyed better success in the music industry. He’s appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on 32 occasions, with three Top 10 singles. He’s also bagged three Top 10 titles on the Billboard 200.
