The Tribeca Festival has unveiled a major addition to its 2026 lineup with the world premiere of Confessions II, a new cinematic experience from Madonna.

The project is set to debut on June 5 at Beacon Theatre and acts as a visual companion to the first six songs from Madonna’s upcoming album. Following the screening, Madonna will join an exclusive live conversation hosted by Jimmy Fallon alongside directors David Toro and Solomon Chase from the New York creative duo TORSO.

Confessions II is being described as a bold visual project that merges the worlds of music videos and experimental cinema. Running for more than ten minutes, the film features tracks including I Feel So Free and Bring Your Love, the latter featuring Sabrina Carpenter.

The film unfolds across six connected chapters that shift between psychological suspense and surreal dreamlike imagery. Produced by Division in partnership with Dolce & Gabbana, the project explores themes surrounding fame, obsession, public attention and personal privacy, ideas that have remained central throughout Madonna’s career.

Throughout the film, Madonna is chased and idolized by camera carrying figures as the story moves through intimate private spaces and massive arena settings. Jane Rosenthal praised the work for its provocative energy, saying it captures a kind of “nightlife mythology” that only Madonna could create.

The collaboration with TORSO, known for their experimental digital visuals and fashion centered filmmaking, is expected to deliver a highly stylized experience built around what the festival describes as a “twisted dream logic” connected to dancefloor culture.

Beyond the visuals themselves, the premiere also highlights Madonna’s continued focus on reinvention and cultural commentary. After decades influencing music, fashion and activism, the project marks another evolution in her career while reconnecting with the club inspired roots that helped define her legacy.

Tickets for the premiere became available today exclusively to members of the Madonna Community, with the event already shaping up to be one of the standout moments of this year’s Tribeca Festival.
