It is rarely quiet when Dame Dash is in the headlines, and once again he has people talking. During a recent sit down with The Art Of Dialogue, he touched on a range of topics, including his views on Cam'ron, Mase, and even Harvey Weinstein. However, one particular moment from the interview, where he spoke about Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, has been circulating widely online.

Dash explained that he never had any romantic interest in Beyoncé, saying he always viewed her as much younger because he knew her during her teenage years. He made it clear that he never saw her in that light, noting that at the time he was more focused on models like Naomi Campbell. “I don’t care about Beyonce. She’s a kid to me. I wasn’t even thinking about Beyonce,” he said, adding, “We knew her when she was 16, so I couldn’t unsee her as 16.”

There have long been rumors that Dash once tried to pursue Beyoncé before she got together with Jay-Z. While he has denied that in the past, he did admit his perspective was different when it came to Kelly Rowland, who is the same age as Beyoncé. “Kelly Rowland, though. I’ve actually seen her and been like, ‘I would mess with her,’” he said.

Beyond those comments, another part of the interview gaining attention is Dash’s take on Reasonable Doubt. He argued that the project does not resonate with younger audiences and claimed it does not generate strong sales today, which he tied to his past attempts to sell his ownership stake. The remarks have sparked debate, with many pushing back on his perspective.
