Digital audiobook producer A.I. Minus has been working on creating a musical trilogy set for the big screen, and while it is still a work in progress, he has the soundtrack for the first section already set in the form of “Killer Donuts Musical.”

“I am intrigued by the whole digital audiobook thing,” he said. “A lot of people are into that and I guess they listen to it as they sleep or go to the gym.”

The audiobook musical chronicles a character who comes from Florida, A.I. Minus, who is escaping the state after it had been hit by multiple hurricanes. The soundtrack is 23 tracks, beginning with “The Sphere,” which is a brand new single that he came up with that is about unique as it gets.

It is an electronic beat that will have your head bopping along to a mix of singing and spoken word, telling the story of the brand new entertainment venue in Las Vegas. Not only is this an immersive new venue complete with 160,000 square feet of LED screens designed to bring viewing and listening entertainment to a whole new level, but it is where he imagines “Killer Donuts Musical” making a major splash to be shown, as well. The Sphere, and the city of Las Vegas, is also a key part of the story, as this is the area where the main character ends up when his car breaks down on his way to California from hurricane ravaged Florida.

A.I. Minus put together a tune that serves as a public service announcement about the venue itself, saying “come dance away, at the biggest ball.”

“When I put together The Sphere, I was doing jingles for other companies,” A.I. Minus said, noting that he can put them together in a matter of minutes. “So when I did The Sphere, it was easy. And you know what? I think I am the only one with a Sphere song at the moment.”

The Sphere in Las Vegas is a wonder of Sin City, with the massive structure casting a shadow over the strip with its sheer size. He also sings, basically preparing the listener and viewer for the uniqueness of all that is in play:

“Welcome to The Sphere
Where images will be rotating
Above and beyond
At the sphere
Whatever happens in it
Will stay in it
I’ve got a bigger challenge
That lays ahead
I need to build a stage
For the world’s largest
Spherical arena
And it’s open, open for all to see.”

The audiobook then starts the journey of the A.I. Minus setting off for the west coast, all while longing for a time where he will be at The Sphere before starting a job at a donut shop or a studio.

In the song “Donuts and Coffee, A.I. Minus sings in the chorus: “You’ll feel like you’re on a fun filled ride, we’ve got everything you need to unwind.”

There are songs that touch on a number of themes, with one including climate change issues in the form of the song “Make a Change.” Being close to Area 51, there are also tracks touching on the weird and the unknown in “Occupy Mars” and “More Stranger.” The story eventually ends up in Las Vegas, with the song “Las Vegas,” coming back around to to sphere.

“The strip is where the action’s at
Where the party never ends
The place where
You can make a million friends
From the MSG sphere
To all the casino hotels”

It continues” Come take a chance
In a city
Where you can be naughty or nice
Las Vegas, Nevada
Where the sun’s always bright
Las Vegas, Nevada
Sin City where you can be
Whoever you’d like.”

The music from “Killer Donuts Musical” is much like A.I. Minus: eccentric, whimsical and wide-ranging. There are touches of hard rock, ethereal tracks, techno, punk, rap and other aspects that blend genres altogether.

A.I. Minus is a man of mystery and intrigue. His background is one of a story in itself, as he tells of times where he was deeply thrown into the lavish world of the South Florida nightlife scene. He recalls buying a cherry red Chevrolet SS that was so flashy, and potentially was formerly owned by a drug dealer, that caught gazes as he pulled up to a wildly popular night club. He said the owner of the club ushered him past the longest line of people he had ever seen, and those who he knew waiting in line watched in disbelief as he got right in as if he were royalty.

He also talks of a time where he moved to the Dorchester, Massachusetts where he ended up going to flip a foreclosed house. He sold the SS to get to this point. While in the Boston area he attended the esteemed Berklee School of Music, and he has also worked in the nail salon business.

His stories and journeys are abundant. A.I. Minus has lived through tragic hurricane seasons that were a major inspiration, traveled the country, and rubbed shoulders with people of all walks of life along his journeys. It is crazy life moments like these that have helped him as an artist and now-musician, and have assisted him in putting together “Killer Donuts Musical.”

A.I. Minus is looking for investors for the project, and once it comes to life he has the musical score ready to rock.

Keep up to date A.I. Minus’s endeavors in music and more, as there is sure to be plenty on the horizon to watch out for. Music and narration of the “Killer Donuts Musical”, which includes “The Sphere” and more by A.I. Minus on all platforms.
