An up and coming Rapper who has had the world thrown at him, SKGLIZZII is back with another bold and insightful track to add to your new favorite playlist. “I NEED SOMEBODY” is a peak into his own thoughts and feelings as SKGLIZZII feels the most alone.
With a sound built from past experiences and an upbringing filled with some of the best that Rap has to offer, SKGLIZZII’s music has something special about it. His most recent track “I NEED SOMEBODY” is an ideal depiction of this, as well as generally an easy song to get into.
Based on a long and traumatic experience in his life “I NEED SOMEBODY” is truly a raw and expressive song. “I was locked up for almost two years for a crime that I didn’t commit,” he explained. “The melody came to me while I was locked up and it was really important to me.”
The first song SKGLIZZII produced and released after being cleared of all of the false charges, “I NEED SOMEBODY” is both a landmark in his career and his personal life. “I wanted it to be something that I can reach others with,” he said. “I want to be able to tell my story, share my struggle, and show my fans that if I can overcome an adversity like this, then so can they.”
With an experience like this weighing so heavily on him, SKGLIZZII has taken to enforcing the idea that hard work and perseverance, along with a little bit of positivity can take you all the way.
“I hope people pay attention to the testimony of this song,” he said. “If you stay focused and consistent in what you want, and believe in yourself then you can do just about anything you set your mind to.”
Along with promoting hard work and perseverance, SKGLIZZII hopes to inspire young people to follow their dreams and work towards their goals. “I want to guide today’s youth into reaching their goals and keeping a positive light.”
Following the release of “I NEED SOMEBODY”, SKGLIZZII is looking forward to an upcoming fall tour. As he continues to grow his audience and gain a following, SKGLIZZII is excited to work his way up the charts and make even more of a difference in the lives of his fans.
