JACKSON, TN - Born and raised on music, the ever versatile artist Wack’O has been cultivating his natural creative talent for most of his life. With a collection of his tracks already gaining traction, he is truly building himself up. Most recently he has shared his latest single, a project called “Life Is A Gamble”.
“Life Is A Gamble” is a song about growth and taking chances when they are given to you. “It’s about who I am and where I came from,” he said. “I’ve been given a lot of chances in my life and you have to take those risks when they're presented to you.” Wack’O uses this song to show his listeners who he really is and what he has gone through and overcome to get to the place we see him in today.
“I want my audience to know me,” he said. “Everyone goes through tough times, but we cannot let that stop us from reaching our fullest potential.” Not only does Wack’O foster the belief that we can define our own destiny, but also that we can look towards our own faith, whatever that may be, to find strength to continue on.
“All of my music comes from real life,” Wack’O explained. “None of it is really fiction.” This theme is clear in “Life Is A Gamble”, but it can also be seen in a variety of Wack’O’s other music. A similar song that he has on the way is “Peaches”, a track about a young woman and old friend he had growing up.
“‘Peaches’ is really about being at the bottom and knowing the only way to look is up,” Wack’O said. There are always going to be times where we feel we are at our lowest, but it is important to understand that everything happens for a reason. “You’ve got to take control of your own destiny,” he said.
With “Life Is A Gamble” now available on all major streaming platforms, Wack’O is excited to continue sharing his music with his fans and audiences. Not only is he looking forward to a new EP, but also has plans for a variety of projects including collaborations, music videos, performances and more. 2023 is looking to be a very exciting year for this artist, and one you will not want to miss out on.
“I am really hoping to pump this music up,” he said. “My music is for more than just myself, it’s for my fans and the people in my city that need someone to look up to.”
