Ice Spice is currently in the midst of a legal battle over some wigs that the artist allegedly never actually paid for.

Ice Spice is currently dealing with legal trouble after TheeBellaBrand LLC filed a lawsuit against her seeking $400K. Per a TMZ report, the company claims the rapper did not pay for $20,000 worth of wigs. They also allege she publicly criticized the brand on social media, which they say resulted in financial damage and lost customers.

Since those claims surfaced, Ice Spice has made efforts to get the case thrown out. She argues the lawsuit is exaggerated and meant to damage her reputation. However, her push to have the case dismissed has not been successful so far.

According to Complex, Ice Spice has now been ordered to take part in a deposition. During this process, she will be required to answer questions tied to the ongoing lawsuit. Reports state that the deposition is scheduled for September 10 in New York.

Recently, Ice Spice has been expanding her presence outside of music, taking on more commercial and branding opportunities. For example, she appeared in a promotional collaboration with Wendy’s, which followed a separate attention-grabbing moment connected to McDonald’s.

Fans have continued to question when she will return with new music. However, given her growing list of business ventures, it appears her focus is not limited to recording at the moment.

As for the lawsuit involving TheeBellaBrand, the situation is still unfolding, with more updates expected as the case progresses.
