Rumours are growing that Migos could be preparing for a comeback.
The group’s official Instagram account became active again on Tuesday with its first upload in more than two years, sharing photos of Quavo and Offset together inside a recording studio.
More images from the 3 May session also showed Offset recording vocals in the booth, further fuelling speculation that new music is currently in the works.
The post quickly gained massive attention online, collecting more than 365,000 likes and sparking excitement among fans who believe a Migos reunion may finally be happening.
The speculation first started building last week after Quavo hinted at several upcoming projects through his Instagram Story, including a posthumous TakeOff album, a follow up to his collaborative project with his late nephew and possibly even a tribute album connected to Migos.
"Warriors never fold. Jobs not finished. Real Migo blood run in my veins! Ain't no new chapter, just the next one," Quavo wrote.
Offset later reposted the message and intensified reunion rumours with a short but telling response, writing, "On dat."
Migos originally formed in 2008 and consisted of Quavo, TakeOff and Offset. The Atlanta trio became one of hip hop’s biggest groups with major hits including Versace and Bad and Boujee. Their momentum was tragically interrupted after TakeOff, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed following a party in Houston on 1 November 2022.
In the years since TakeOff’s death, Quavo and Offset have appeared publicly distant from one another.
Their most recent full project together remains the 2021 album Culture III, which had reportedly been intended as the final Migos album before TakeOff’s passing.
