A devoted Robbie Williams fan who recently went viral after featuring in Netflix’s Take That documentary was reunited with the singer on stage in Wolverhampton on Monday night 09.02.26.

Jemma Williamson, who now works as a nursery teacher and lives in Wolverhampton, first made headlines over three decades ago when cameras captured her outside a Take That signing in Chester. Back then, she was just 14 and had travelled from the Wirral in hopes of meeting her idol. She was unable to enter the venue but remained outside, passionately speaking to the camera and encouraging Robbie to give her a call. The clip was revived in the Netflix series and quickly spread across social media.

At Robbie’s concert at The Halls in Wolverhampton this week, he invited Williamson up in front of the crowd to relive the unforgettable moment that made her such a recognisable fan.

As he brought her out, he told the audience: “Please welcome Jemma from the Take That documentary.”

Standing next to him before a packed venue, Williamson delivered her now iconic words once again: “Robbie’s my favourite because he’s got gorgeous eyes and a gorgeous body and he can call me any time.”

Robbie playfully asked if she ever got a phone call after the documentary was released, and she admitted that the number she shared back in the 1990s is no longer active.

The crowd responded with huge applause as the Angels singer, now 51, embraced her before she made her way back to her seat.

The resurfaced documentary moment collected more than 107,000 likes on Instagram after Robbie tried dialing the old number while watching the programme, triggering a strong wave of nostalgia among longtime fans.

Williamson reflected on the renewed attention, saying: “I think it’s brought back a bit of nostalgia for everybody."
