He is currently playing a fully sold out eight show tour across North America.
EsDeeKid has released his latest single ‘Omens’ along with a new video, arriving as he kicks off his first run of live shows in the US. You can watch it below.
The anonymous rapper is currently in the middle of a sold out eight date debut tour across North America, with more than 27,000 fans reportedly queueing in the virtual waiting room for tickets to the Los Angeles shows alone. The run began on Tuesday February 3 with his first ever US performance at Avondale Music Hall in Chicago.
With the shows now underway, the Liverpool born artist has followed up the opening date by dropping ‘Omens’ today February 6. The track is produced by Cppo, Toom and Wasa.
Leaning into the hard edged sound and pounding production that first put him on the radar, the song features EsDeeKid delivering lines such as: “We’re takin’ it all, we’re the Romans / The land, the people, the oceans / The fire, we riot, explosions / All of me team are full of bad omens.”
Released via Lizzy Records, the track is accompanied by a new video directed by Archie Erskine. The visuals show the masked rapper moving through a luxury mansion, handling firearms and riding a horse. You can check it out below.
The release follows EsDeeKid speaking out against The Chainsmokers after they shared an unauthorised remix of his track ‘4 Raws’. Posting on X, he wrote: “That chainsmokers remix is getting NUKED mate wow please. don’t remix my shit and think it’s cool to post to all DSPs.”
As promised, the remix has since been taken down from YouTube and SoundCloud, although snippets of it are still being shared online.
This was not the first time The Chainsmokers have faced criticism for releasing remixes without permission. In recent months, they have also put out unauthorised versions of tracks by Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Gracie Abrams and Sombr. Their only officially approved remix during that period was their take on Taylor Swift’s ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’.
Elsewhere, after speculation spread online that EsDeeKid was actually Timothée Chalamet, the pair addressed the rumours by collaborating on their own remix of ‘4 Raws’. In a video shared on social media, Chalamet can be heard rapping: “Got model bitches in Peckham / I’m riding rentals in Wrexham.”
He then appears to reference his partner Kylie Jenner with the line: “It’s Timothée Chalamet chilling / Trying to stack 100 million / Girl got a billion.”
EsDeeKid’s album ‘Rebel’ was included in NME’s list of the 50 best albums of 2025. Writing about the release, Kyann Sian Williams said: “Punkish bravado and glossy, high voltage shine: with his debut mixtape ‘Rebel’, EsDeeKid took the crown as the UK underground’s true chaos conductor.
“Over crunchy bass and breath halting 808s, his gruff Scouse delivery becomes an act of defiant grit, transforming the record into a cultish riot that refuses to be tamed.”
In addition to the current North American dates, EsDeeKid is also set to join IDLES, Amyl & The Sniffers, JPEGMAFIA and others as an opening act for Deftones at London’s Outbreak Fest 2026.
