Ronan Keating has made it clear that Boyzone have no plans to record new music or go back on a world tour.
The Irish group, made up of Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham alongside Ronan, will reunite for a single show at London’s Emirates Stadium on Saturday, June 6, 2026. It will be their first performance since their London Palladium concerts in 2019.
Still, fans who were hoping for a full reunion may be left disappointed.
Speaking to reporters in London this week, and quoted by The Sun, Ronan said: “This is not a reunion. We’re not making new music.
“There is no new music coming, and we are not bringing the band back together for a world tour.
“This is just for right now — one show at the Emirates. If we add another night, that would be incredible, but it will only be at the Emirates.
“We will not be taking this show anywhere else. We want people to come and join us in London.”
At 48, Ronan admitted that the idea of touring is no longer realistic: “I don’t think we’re built for it anymore. We can’t do it, honestly.”
Bandmate Keith, 51, added jokingly: “We’re not kids anymore, and his knees are gone.”
The special concert was sparked by the overwhelming response to the group’s documentary Boyzone: No Matter What.
In a joint statement, the band said: “We have been truly humbled by the reaction to the documentary this year. The love we’ve received from fans around the world has inspired us to create the ultimate experience, headlining our own stadium show.
“The four of us cannot wait to stand together again and enjoy One For The Road.”
Pre-sale tickets will be available on October 7 at 9am, with general sales beginning on October 10 at the same time.
Boyzone originally split in 2000 to allow its members to focus on solo careers, but they came back together in 2007.
They toured heavily after reuniting, including their Thank You And Goodnight farewell shows between 2018 and 2019, but have not shared the stage since.
Over their career, Boyzone achieved six UK number one singles and five UK number one albums, with hits such as Love Me For A Reason, Words and No Matter What.
Tragedy struck in 2009 when Stephen Gately died at the age of 33.
Ronan went on to enjoy a successful solo career with hits including When You Say Nothing At All, If Tomorrow Never Comes and Life Is A Rollercoaster.
Keith later teamed up with Brian McFadden of Westlife in 2016 to create Boyzlife, performing music from both groups.
The pair will also head out on tour in 2026, between February and March.
So far, Boyzlife have released two albums, Strings Attached in 2020 and Old School in 2022.
