Bad Bunny earns leading number of Latin Grammy nods

Bad Bunny is leading this year’s Latin Grammy Awards with 12 nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.

The Latin Recording Academy announced the complete list of nominations today for the 26th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

The Puerto Rican superstar, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, earned multiple nominations in the top categories with Baile Inolvidable and DtMF both recognized for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Other contenders in the Record of the Year category include CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Jorge Drexler & Conociendo Rusia, Zoe Gotusso, Karol G, Natalia Lafourcade, Alejandro Sanz, and Liniker.

Liniker, who became the first trans artist ever to win a Latin Grammy, is making history again this year with seven nominations.

The Brazilian-born Black trans singer is nominated in three of the “Big Four” categories: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.

The Latin Grammy Awards honor exceptional achievement in the Latin music industry, recognizing works in Spanish or Portuguese released between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 13, in Las Vegas.
