Biffy Clyro are set to play an intimate London concert to celebrate the release of their new album Futique.
The Scottish trio, made up of Simon Neil, James Johnston and Ben Johnston, will release their 10th studio album next Friday, 19 September, three years after their previous record The Myth of the Happily Ever After.
The group will perform at HERE at Outernet, a 2,000-capacity venue in Charing Cross, on Thursday 18 September, the evening before the album officially drops.
Their upcoming concert, called the Futique Release Show, will be roughly one-tenth the size of their next London appearance at the O2 Arena in January 2026, which forms part of a UK and Ireland arena tour.
The event is being staged in partnership with Immersions May Vary and has been described as “a rare opportunity to see Biffy Clyro at close quarters in the capital.”
Simon said: “We can’t wait to celebrate Futique with you all… this is going to be incredibly special!”
Fans who pre-order Futique before 10 a.m. BST on Tuesday 16 September will gain access to a pre-sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday 17 September.
Those who have already pre-ordered through the band’s official store will automatically be included.
A general sale will then open at 3 p.m. BST on the same day, with organisers confirming that only “a limited number of tickets” will be available.
Simon also shared that the new album is “an exploration of ideas, objects or relationships that exist across time.”
He continued: “We are never aware when we do anything for the last time, and there’s a beauty and sadness within that. What will be your ‘Futique’?”
Biffy Clyro have also planned a series of smaller acoustic shows across the UK next month to further support the release of Futique.
Their larger arena tour will begin in January with support from Soft Play and The Armed.
This past summer, the band headlined TRNSMT in Glasgow, performed on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, played two nights at the Eden Sessions in Cornwall, and appeared at several festivals across Europe.
