While the sound is definitively modern pop, there is a delightful mix of soul and old-school instrumentals. The drum solo adds an authentic layer that ties the contemporary vibe with a nostalgic rhythm, creating a soothing and compelling sound. “Vibe with You” is the latest single to debut from her new album, Magnetic Muse Chapter 2, released on March 15th.

“I wanted it to be pop and catchy but have its own authentic twist with the drums,” said Alyssa Rose. “I wanted to create something that people could vibe with, make them feel good and happy.”

She co-produced “Vibe with You” with Fresco Rhodes, a multi-genre music producer based in Toronto. The two have been working together since 2020, and it is a perfect match. While her music is rooted in R&B, it boasts an expansive sound that encompasses Pop, Soul, Blues Alternative, Rock, and more. Alyssa Rose's eclectic style is complemented by Fresco's versatility and broad musical palette, which enable them to blend various influences into a cohesive, refreshing sound.

“I’ve learned a lot since I started working with him,” shared Alyssa Rose. “I know how I like it to sound and look, and he helps me bring the vision to life and make it relatable to other musicians.” 

Released on February 22nd, Alyssa Rose crafted “Vibe with You” by channeling themes of self-discovery and innocence, drawing directly from the classic Scottish tale, "Peter Pan and Wendy." The song captures the essence of holding onto cherished symbols of childhood, much like Wendy’s teddy bear, representing the purity and wonder of youth. Through its lyrics and melody, “Vibe with You” invites listeners on a journey of self-exploration, blending current pop rhythms with themes of adventure and personal growth.

“Magnetic Muse Chapter 2 is a two-part album inspired by the Chinese philosophical theory of Yin and Yang,” explained Alyssa Rose. “Chapter 2 is the yin. It’s a more feminine, chill, groovy vibe, and this song is specifically about self-discovery and what that means to me.”

Alyssa Rose carries these themes into her upcoming release, "High." Having recently finished the music video for this single, she continues to infuse elements from "Peter Pan and Wendy." This track highlights Tinker Bell’s narrative, creating a dreamy, princess-like atmosphere while channeling feminine energy. “Vibe with You” and “High” are the only two singles on Magnetic Muse Chapter 2 connected through this lauded children’s story.

A true artist, Alyssa Rose is an actor, dancer, choreographer, director, singer, songwriter, painter, model, and photographer. Her greatest passions, however, lie in singing and dancing. Beginning her dance journey at age 3, she was competing by age 8. Although she was always interested in music, it wasn't until 2019 that she began to pursue it more vigorously. Amidst mental health struggles, she found solace in writing music, using it as a medium of expression and a form of communication with the universe. Spiritually guided, Alyssa Rose shifted this interpersonal work into a full-time music career by 2020, leading her to release four albums, seven singles, and nine music videos within three years.

“When I was writing down my experience, it became a spiritual encounter,” explained Alyssa Rose, “I wasn’t originally religious, but as I was asking the universe for guidance, I got connected to source. I’ve been growing and moving forward with that insight.”

While Alyssa does not directly address her spiritual encounters in her music, they are a foundational aspect. Listeners will perceive glimpses of this in her instrumental choices and lyrics, which often reference identity and self-discovery. Alyssa hopes that this album will inspire people to discover themselves and understand that it’s okay to be uncertain about the journey as long as they keep moving forward.

“I was afraid to write about this. It was challenging to be vulnerable and express my feelings throughout the journey, but it’s important to discover who you are because it’s easy to fall into karmic cycles,” shared Alyssa Rose. “It’s also easier to love someone else when you know who you are. On top of all that, I hope the music resonates with people, and they enjoy it!”
