Lil Nas Xs New J Christ Video Features A Michael Jackson Look-Alike In Heaven

Lil Nas X has delivered a ton of imagery in his new controversially artistic video, “J Christ.”

The biblical-themed visual, written and directed by LNX, sees a ton of celebrity look-alikes walking through the pearly gates of Heaven.

He includes impersonated versions of Barack Obama, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Oprah, Ed Sheeran, Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton, and more — who have all knowingly been advocates of the LGBTQ community. Additionally, the Montero artist shows a faux Michael Jackson moonwalking in Heaven as he struts through the serene setting.

He raps: “Back-back-back up out the gravesite/ Bi**h, I’m back like J Christ/ I’m finna get the gays hyped/ I’m finna take it yay high/ Back up out the gravesite.”

In another scene, he appears to have a 1-on-1 basketball game between two speculated NBA stars portraying a devil and a heavenly figure. He also sports his unofficial Nike Air Max 97 “Satan Shoes” on the court as angels cheer them on.

Shortly after, the video shows LNX in a full-on dance ensemble as a cheerleader, before he reenacts “Jesus on the cross,” the Met Gala, Noah’s Arc, and other biblical events.

The almost three-minute long video closes out as LNX weathers a storm on his “Montero” ship. The phrase “Day Zero New Beginning” overlays the shot, before a scripture is shown.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come,” Corinthians 5:17 reads.
