SomeoneCalledSomeone is a new artist born of a career’s worth of experience. Once a well known name, this musician has been on hiatus for the last eight years and is now back, under a new moniker and anonymous persona, to share his music with the world once more. He has time to make up for and much to share, including his new EP series, The Moods.
With Volume I, Pensive, already released and Volume II, Frequencies on the way, SomeoneCalledSomeone dives how it feels to come back to your roots and return to the things that you love the most. Each addition to the series gives him another avenue to explore as he settles back into himself as a musician and performer.
“Pensive is all about the story and lyricism,” he explained. “That’s the one you're really going to want to focus on the music for. Frequencies, on the other hand, is more for just having fun and enjoying.”
With Frequencies being his most recent project, SomeoneCalledSomeone is excited for his audience to interact with the EP. On it, you can find his exciting new song “Smooth”. This song, which almost didn’t make it onto the EP, is already capturing hearts and marking itself as a fan favorite.
“It wasn’t originally going to be on the project,” he explained. “Someone else was going to use the beat, but I was really feeling it. When the other person decided to pass on it, I knew it had to be on this EP.”
Following the release of Frequencies, SomoneCalledSomeone plans to release another two volumes of The Moods EP Series, with focuses on both Pop and Blues. The next of these EPs is set to release this summer. While the original plan was only for four EPs to be released, SomeoneCalledSomeone did mention a possibility of more, as he continues to explore the different avenues of his creativity and musical career.
He is also looking forward to the release of an upcoming Rap album, which is set to release this fall. Alongside these releases, you can also keep an eye out for music videos that might just give you a deeper glimpse into who this artist really is, while still maintaining his personal anonymity.
“I am looking forward to falling in love with music all over again,” SomeoneCalledSomeone said. He certainly has much to look forward to as he steps into this new era of music. This artist is certainly not someone you are going to want to miss out on.
