Singer-songwriter Reed Waddle has spent much of his career writing music on the professional level. With a Nashville publishing deal, he has gotten to work with a collection of incredible people, hone his skills and create music that so many have fallen love with. Now his new single “Save Me” is gearing up to be everyone’s next favorite track.

The song “Save Me” was originally meant to be a work project, co-written with producer Jordan Frye in the summer of 2020. It was shared with their publishers and set to be picked up by another artist, including the likes of Dolly Parton. The song however was never picked up, and when passed on by Frye in his recent album, Waddle took the chance to truly make it his own.

Though he creates new music for others on a regular basis, some songs just seem to hit a different chord. “By the time we were done with it, the song just felt like it was mine,” Waddle said. “Save Me” is a gorgeous track and he presents it in an incredible fashion.

“I’m very proud of the vocals I was able to put onto this track,” he explained. “It was a sort of pivotal point in knowing what I’m capable of as an artist.” “Save Me” truly showcases the powerhouse voice that Waddle possesses.

To coincide with beautiful lyricism and vocals to match, “Save Me” is more than just a pretty song. It fosters a conversation about the personal struggles we as a community have faced in recent years and provides hope for better things to come. “The song has some darkness in it,” Waddle said. “But I think the theme of hope and love really stands out as well.”

To follow up on the release of “Save Me”, Waddle is excited to dive into 2023 with a collection of soulful and vibrant new tracks. He has big plans to continue to grow as a musician and producer, making music that is honest to who he is.

“I’m really looking forward to being able to have full control while bringing my music to life,” Waddle said. With a focus on his own creative growth, he is looking forward to taking on more and more control of the production of his own music, while continuing to pursue this avenue of his career.
