Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have made their first official red carpet appearance as a couple.
The Eye of the Tiger singer and the former Canadian Prime Minister attended the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival together for the premiere of Perry’s concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live In Paris.
The pair arrived at the BMCC Theatre in New York City on the evening of Monday 8 June, where they were seen smiling for photographers and exchanging affectionate looks throughout the event.
Their red carpet debut comes almost a year after dating rumours first surfaced when they were spotted having dinner together in Montreal in July 2025.
Perry and Trudeau’s relationship quickly drew worldwide attention, moving from an early public outing to a confirmed romance that has since included international travel and appearances at major cultural events. Trudeau was previously married to Sophie Grégoire, with the couple announcing their separation after 18 years of marriage in August 2023.
Orlando Bloom, Perry’s former partner, confirmed the end of his nine year relationship and engagement with the singer in June 2025, with the pair stating they would focus on co parenting their daughter, Daisy.
The premiere of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live In Paris marked the film’s official debut at Tribeca, and the evening also included a post screening conversation with Perry reflecting on the project.
