Film and pop culture are about to meet on one of London’s biggest stages. BAFTA has confirmed that the singers behind Netflix’s animated phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters will perform live at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards, taking place at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, 22 February.
A Global First in London
For the first time, EJAE as Rumi, Audrey Nuna as Mira and Rei Ami as Zoey will appear together onstage outside the United States. Known collectively as the voices of the fictional group HUNTR/X, the trio will deliver their breakout hit “Golden”. Since the film premiered in June 2025, it has grown into Netflix’s most watched title ever with more than 500 million streams. Its soundtrack has proved just as dominant, with “Golden” becoming the first female K Pop song to top the Billboard Hot 100, holding number one for eight straight weeks.
Breaking Records and Barriers
The appearance follows another landmark moment, as “Golden” recently became the first K Pop song to win a Grammy Award, taking home Best Song Written for Visual Media. The track is now closing in on four billion streams worldwide.
“Performing at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined!” the trio said in a joint statement. “We’re so proud to represent the film's positive message to fans around the globe.”
An Unmissable Night of Entertainment
The ceremony will be hosted by multi award winning actor Alan Cumming, with BAFTA Executive Director of Awards and Content Emma Baehr promising a memorable evening. “We want to create an unmissable night of entertainment, and we can’t wait to roll out the red carpet for such an iconic trio,” she said.
The 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards will air as live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, 22 February, while viewers in the United States can watch via E!.
