Joe Budden addressed the tension between Adin Ross and Doechii after her song “girl, get up” dropped.

Adin Ross went after Joe Budden during a recent livestream after the podcast host said he hoped Glasses Malone would physically confront Ross. Malone had previously cautioned Ross about continuing to make disrespectful remarks toward Doechii.

“Joe Budden you a pssy. Fck you,” Ross says in a clip that has been spreading across social media. “Let’s link up. You know where I’m at. I got police with me too. I’m in your city. What do you wanna do?”

Budden addressed the situation between Ross and Doechii by saying, “I’m rooting for Glasses Malone to get all the crips together to beat up homeboy. I am. Sorry. I think that’s who she was talking to on the song, talking to little fckity fck.”

The latest chapter of the feud kicked off after Doechii released her new single with SZA, “girl, get up.” On the record, she pushes back against long standing claims that she is an “industry plant” and addresses the criticism she has faced since her 2024 album Alligator Bites Never Heal earned Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards. She raps, “All that industry plant sht whack / I see it on the blogs, I see you in the chats / You suck every rap n**a d*ck form the back / But what’s the agenda when the it girl black?”

Not long after the song dropped, Ross linked up with 6ix9ine and Cuffem for a diss track titled “BACON.” While 6ix9ine aimed his bars at Lil Durk and Cuffem took shots at Lil Tjay, Ross used most of his verse to target Doechii.

Eventually, Glasses Malone stepped in publicly and warned Ross to fall back from the situation. “I know your people. Stop disrespecting that fing lady. You can make all the content. I’m going to get next to you. All I ask you to do is respect that Black lady. Do your job, make your content, stop calling this lady out her name,” Malone said. “Yes, call her music wack. That’s your job. Do your fing job. Stop calling this Black lady a b*h and all that st.”
