Olivia Dean and Michael Bublé are locked in a close contest for the final Official Number 1 album of 2025.

Olivia’s previous chart leader The Art of Loving is currently out in front, on course for a third non consecutive week at the top. That said, Bublé remains firmly in contention, with his long running Christmas collection sitting just behind at Number 2 in the midweek update.

With Christmas having already claimed the first Number 1 album of 2025, the question now is whether the King of Christmas can also close out the year at the top.

Elsewhere, JADE is eyeing a remarkable return to the Top 10, with her debut solo album THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! set to leap 130 places to Number 8. The surge follows the CD release of THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE, a deluxe edition that includes eight additional tracks, among them the latest single Church.

After dominating the festive singles chart with 2025’s Official Christmas Number 1 XMAS, Kylie Minogue is also climbing the albums chart. Her 11th Number 1 record Kylie Christmas – Fully Wrapped is tipped to rise to Number 13.

Meanwhile, Bing Crosby’s seasonal compilation Ultimate Christmas is heading for a new high, expected to break into the Top 40 for the first time at Number 21.

Finally, with their namesake tour currently making its way across the UK, Madness are seeing renewed interest in their career spanning collection Hit Parade, which is up 27 places to Number 33 in the midweek chart.
