Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are set to capture their recent arena tour, which supported their latest album Wild God, with a new live album titled Live God.

The upcoming 2LP and 2CD collection, arriving on December 5, includes live performances of songs from the 2024 record Wild God, such as “Joy,” “Frogs,” and “Cinnamon Horses,” along with fan favorites like “Red Right Hand,” “Into My Arms,” and “O Children.”

Ahead of the album’s release, the band — joined on this tour by Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on bass — has unveiled the first single, a powerful live version of Wild God’s title track recorded during their Paris concert.

Live God is available for preorder now. The CD and digital editions of the album include three additional songs: “Long Dark Night,” “White Elephant,” and “O Wow O Wow (How Wonderful She Is).”

When the Wild God Tour stopped in Brooklyn this past April, Rolling Stone wrote, “Cave proved to a U.S. audience what Europe has known for decades: that he — rock’s gothic poet laureate, master of emotional intimacy, and, as a side hustle, introspective advice columnist — is indeed an arena rocker. He’s attempted that feat in the States before, staging a brilliant and occasionally heartrending concert at the same venue in 2018 while promoting his excellent open wound of an album, Skeleton Tree, but something about Thursday’s concert felt different: a sense of joy.”

The band will continue its Wild God tour into 2026, beginning with a run of shows in Australia in January. From there, they’ll return to Europe for another leg that starts on June 10 in Dublin, Ireland, and is currently scheduled to wrap up on August 28 in Paris.
