After years of rumored tension, the rappers have dropped a joint track.

Ice Spice and Latto have come together for a brand-new single, “Gyatt,” released alongside a high-energy music video. Directed by Hidji World, the visual includes guest appearances from Deshae Frost, Tylil James, and Love Island star JaNa Craig.

“Gyatt” is the first time the two rappers have collaborated, putting to rest long-running chatter about a rivalry between them. On the track, Latto delivers the line, “Lord, have mercy, shape real curvy/ My man buys me sticks and stones, words can’t hurt me.”

Speculation about tension between the two has followed them for years. Back in 2024, Latto seemed to throw shade in a Billboard cover interview, saying Ice Spice would not be a worthy opponent in a rap battle.

“If I were to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like Imma go tit for tat with,” Latto explained. “I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that?”

Later that year, she addressed the feud rumors again in a Rolling Stone interview, clarifying that there was no real problem. “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her, ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me.”

The new single comes after Latto’s track “Chicken Grease,” which she dropped in August, following her earlier summer anthem “Somebody” in May that arrived with a music video directed by her sister, Brooklyn Nikole. Ice Spice most recently released her debut album Y2K! last year, which featured the single “Hannah Montana” with guest appearances from NLE Choppa and DaBaby.
