Emerging hip-hop artist BamsterG delivers a fresh sound and the vibes to match with his recent single. Ready to take his career to new heights, the multi-genre artist brings to the stage a club banger designed to entertain. “Dummy Thick” is a both an ode
Beyond the music, BamsterG prides himself on being a kindhearted and down-to-earth guy. “I’m a risk taker but not a bad risk taker. I like listening and hearing people out to help them,” he shares. His love for inspiring can be traced back to his humble beginnings.
Hailing from Sweetwater, Tennessee, BamsterG was raised on love for family, community, and the country. Growing up, the musician immersed himself in outdoors activities from horseback riding to fishing—and everything in between. When he was around eight years old, BamsterG moved with his family to Chattanooga, where he learned the ins and outs of city life, all while holding his earlier years close to heart. He began playing sports and excelling at school, going on to attend the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences. During this time, he turned to music and never looked back.
BamsterG’s sound is influenced by music of the 2000s and 2010s, as well as personal experience and his grandmother. To BamsterG, music is more than a career path—it’s the means for self-expression and a way to connect with the world around him. He hopes to inspire and uplift listeners and fellow artists with his unique perspective. Touching upon topics both local and personal, BamsterG creates music that celebrates the culture and spirit of Chattanooga in a way that even those not from the area can understand.
Over the years, BamsterG’s sound has noticeably evolved, transitioning from a reflection of his pain to a celebration of life. “I’ve transitioned from sad music. It’s still personal, but now I have more club bangers and ‘having a good time’ vibes. I’m also working on some R&B to be released next year. I’m going through every avenue God puts me in front of,” he adds.
While his sound is consistently taking on new challenges and depth, BamsterG is committed to his inner voice and his team of producers. “Switching up is fake, and we don’t do fake,” explains the artist. “Sometimes my songs are based off my mood or how I’m feeling at the time or the mood of the music industry. If it’s lacking in one area, I turn up there. I could have a random idea that no one talks about or barely talks about. Then, I come up with melody and my producers cook up the beat.”
For his latest single, BamsterG shifted from “pain music” to “something for the ladies.” “It’s not a classy lady thing,” he adds. “They’ll listen to it, but this ain’t classy. They’re shaking to it. This song is for the ladies but also for everyone.”
“I want listeners to be influenced and feel good. It’s meant to uplift even though it’s a badonkadonk, shaking song. You ain’t got to face your problems right now. Face them but get over them. It’s time to not focus on the pain.”
Next up for the artist is his single “Walked In,” coming out soon. Listeners can also look forward to his R&B album scheduled for 2026. “The only direction I’m gonna go is up. Tell the world to get ready.”
