A young artist with a long history of passionate creation, S7GMA is bringing a fresh sound to the table by taking Hip Hop back to its roots in a brand new way. Most recently he has been preparing to share his upcoming EP, Mind of Me, a collection of track

Mind of Me Features three singles, a beginning, middle and end. Starting with the final track of the project, S7GMA’s first single was “Now”, a track all about living in the present. “We don’t have the ability to live in tomorrow,we are always going to be forced to live in the present,” he explained. This song came about due to the reality S7GMA faced after losing both his father and his best friend. “I’ve always been someone looking to step into the shoes other people have set for me, but realizing that tomorrow isn’t a given has inspired me to focus on me,” he said.

“Now” is followed by the middle song of the EP, “SORRY”, a single with a bit of a double meaning. “‘SORRY’ is a song that says ‘I’m sorry for what you had to go through to get where you are today,” S7GMA explained. “But it also sort of argues that you can’t always be sorry for yourself.” The track does an incredible job of both empathizing over the pain you may have experienced in life, while still reminding you of the importance of moving forward.

Following the release of “Now” and “SORRY”, S7GMA is looking forward to sharing the starting track of the upcoming Mind of Me project. The soon to be released song, “Welcome” is an entrance into the mind of S7GMA. “It is both a summary of the contents of this EP,” he explained. “And a summary of myself.”

“Welcome” will serve as the entrance into an honest and surreal collection of songs that both provide personal access into the mind of its creator and an inspirational reminder to always bet on yourself.

“Mind of Me is really a transparent project, so if there is anything I want my audience to take from it, I would want that to be: bet on yourself, because tomorrow is not a given,” said S7GMA. “Bet on yourself and be true to yourself and no one will ever be able to take that away from you.”

After Mind of Me releases, S7GMA is excited to continue creating music and sharing his passion with the world. He advises fans to be ready for a more raw and self aware version of himself, as he is always growing.
