Australian singer and emerging songwriter Sienna Rose, also known as Sienna-Rose Jerak, releases her new single, “You Got Me,” delivering a compelling blend of R&B and Pop. The track is an infectious, mainstream hit perfectly tuned for the summer vibe. With its catchy hooks and top-notch production, "You Got Me" highlights Sienna Rose's talent for delivering memorable melodies. This song captivates with its upbeat tempo and relatable lyrics - positioning Sienna Rose as an artist to watch.
“It’s about when you like someone, and they’re hot and cold - that moment when you’re completely wrapped up in their games, and it’s driving you crazy,” shared Sienna Rose.
"You Got Me" resonates with listeners through its relatable narrative and heartfelt delivery. The track's seamless blend of genres is no accident; it is the product of the creative genius of Grammy Award-winning producers Michael Mani and Jordan Omley. While they crafted the song, Sienna's captivating vocal performance brings it to life. This collaborative effort results in a polished track that speaks to the complexities of modern relationships while maintaining an irresistible groove.
“They are very encouraging in the studio. I love to work with them because they stretch me. When I say I can’t, they push me to hit the note. I love how supportive they are,” said Sienna-Rose.
Although there is not yet a performance or video accompanying "You Got Me" - the song is already gaining traction - with over 15,000 streams, and she has much more in the pipeline. Released in April alongside "You Got Me," her ballad "Too Fly" addresses social media struggles and the desire to break free from the online world to pursue one's true passions. Additionally, she collaborated with another producer on a track called "Lattern," which has yet to be released.
"I don’t have a manager or record label at the moment, but I hope to get one soon - that's my goal,” said Sienna-Rose. “I’m really young, so I want to build my repertoire. I want to collaborate with more songwriters, producers, singers, and DJs.”
At just 14 years old, Sienna's ambitions in the music industry are as vast as her talent. Inspired by the R&B sounds of the 1990s and 2000s, Sienna draws influence from iconic acts such as SWV, Brandy, Monica, Mya, En Vogue and TLC. This fusion of pop, R&B, soul, and dance fuels her creative fire. Looking ahead, Sienna-Rose is not content with staying within the confines of one genre; she's eager to explore and experiment, particularly delving deeper into R&B.
“When you’re doing a solid pop song, you can’t do as many runs and rifts, but a song like 'Un-Break My Heart' by Toni Braxton – she did a lot with that song!” enthused Sienna-Rose. “It’s what I love about that song and what I love to do, too. You can hear some of those runs and rifts in ‘Too Fly.’”
Sienna's musical journey is guided by her admiration for R&B legends and fueled by a desire to push her creative boundaries. As she looks ahead to the next five years, she aims for a deeper reach while exploring a more comprehensive range of emotions through her music. Already demonstrating versatility, Sienna's background in performance arts, including musical theatre, piano, tap, and jazz, provides her with a solid foundation for experimentation. Moreover, her vocal prowess extends far beyond contemporary genres, with capabilities spanning opera, classical, and jazz.
Beyond the world of music, Sienna-Rose also has a passion for acting that adds another dimension to her creative repertoire. When she's in LA, she immerses herself in training at the prestigious Margie Haber Studio in Hollywood, honing her skills under the guidance of industry experts. Likewise, her dedication to vocal excellence is evident in her work with vocal coach Liz Lewis, a renowned figure in the industry who has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Gwen Stefani, and Britney Spears.
“I do hope to expand into acting, but right now, I’m really focused on singing,” shared Sienna.
