Hip-Hop artist INFLUENCE drops his latest single, “What You Deserve,” just in time for summer.

This independent EP is the ultimate blend of infectious rhythms, punchy 808s, and dancehall vibes, bringing the heat for those summer moments. Known for his versatility, INFLUENCE switches it up with every song, but this marks the first-time introducing island vibes into his musical repertoire. 

“I do a lot of Hip-Hop because that’s where I feel the most comfortable, but I’m excited about this new track,” shared INFLUENCE. “I think the combination of musical elements is perfect for my voice and showcasing my talents to the world.”

True to his craft, INFLUENCE pours his heart and soul into his music, and “What You Deserve” is no exception. The track features vocals from Info Black, who wrote his own hook, along with top-notch production from Majestic Drama, “What You Deserve,” which perfectly complements INFLUENCE's dynamic style, making it a standout for the summer.

“I purchased rights to the beats, and so many people asked me why I would waste the money,” explained INFLUENCE. “If you don’t trust yourself enough to be worthy to invest in, then what's the point? And if the song blows up, I’d rather pay two thousand vs two million.”

Following the release of "What You Deserve" on April 5th, INFLUENCE is gearing up to shoot a music video for the new single at the end of the month. Fans can anticipate a visual feast that matches the sensual undertones of the song. Not wasting a moment, INFLUENCE has exciting news for the upcoming months, including his next single, "The Wave,” an appearance at the Mic Check Wynwood artist-versus-artist competition this summer, and his single "Step," which featured in the upcoming film “College of the Dead.”

INFLUENCE's musical journey stems from his upbringing in the church and at home, where his mom's love for R&B filled the house. While INFLUENCE states that God put the passion in his heart to pursue music, it wasn't until the age of 21 that he officially embarked on a musical career. 

“My mom was the victim of a violent domestic violence incident..” I would like it to say “My mom is the survivor of an attempted murder that left her paralyzed in a wheelchair. She had me seven years after that - I am her miracle baby! So i think that’s always motivated me and reminded me that i have a greater purpose” shared INFLUENCE.
