Florida-based hip-hop artist and producer S.A. Vents unveils his latest single, "Streets," a soulful and laidback groove that offers a glimpse into his forthcoming album, slated for an early 2024 release. In "Streets," S.A. Vents masterfully weaves a timeless love story through enchanting melodies that dance effortlessly over a solid baseline. This musical narrative can appeal to listeners of all generations, serving as a testament to the artist's versatility and his ability to craft a narrative that beautifully unfolds, all set against the backdrop of a past love.

“It’s a nostalgic type of love song. I was speaking from experience,” shared S.A. Vents. “I didn’t get into specifics on this track, but it is about a past relationship. It came to me naturally. I wrote in fifteen to twenty minutes, whereas others [on this new album] took multiple hours.”

S.A. Vents, a seasoned player in the South Florida Hip-Hop scene, is known for his mastery of the quintessential Miami bass, the pulsating 808 drums, the infectious hi-hats, and futuristic synth-scapes. However, his latest drop represents some of his more contemplative and introspective work. The slower tempo and use of real instrumentals, most notably the mellow piano, give this single a soulful and timeless lo-fi sound. A multi-hyphenated talent, S.A. Vents was hands-on in every aspect of developing this track, except for its initial production.

“I kind of take a back seat to producing, so I can be more efficient with recording, mixing, and mastering.” Sharing with a chuckle, S.A. Vents continued, “I’ve done it in the past but learned the hard way it’s too much for one person.”

“Streets” is the seventh track off S.A. Vent’s eagerly anticipated new album. It’s a sneak peek of what fans can expect – a fusion of instrumentals, jazzy chord progressions, chill beats, nostalgia, and storytelling. Another recent hit, "Script," maintains that chill vibe over an uptempo beat, making it a road trip or party-hosting essential. S.A. Vents has two more singles in the pipeline before the year wraps up.

“I will be releasing more visuals for ‘Script’ and some of the other music I have coming out,” said S.A. Vents. “I hope to be doing some small shows locally around South Florida next month and going into next year.”

S.A. Vents, whose real name is Scott Anderson, was born in Broward County, Florida, and raised in a house of music lovers. Growing up in the culturally diverse environment of Florida exposed him to a rich tapestry of musical styles and genres. A life filled with music inspired his artistry at an early age. He started doing poetry and writing rhymes when he was eight years old. However, it wasn't until 2015 that S.A. Vents took the plunge into writing and recording his own music. When it comes to his musical influences and taste, he credits his mom for shaping his early preferences. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, 50 Cent, Outkast, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Future, and Kid Cudi, S.A. Vents' style is a fusion of these diverse musical influences, resulting in his unique and captivating sound.

When asked what he hopes listeners receive from his music, S.A. Vents shared, “I want people to be able to let go and have a good time when it comes to listening to my music. I want it to be good vibes. I want it to translate [clearly] that I’m a genuine person and my music comes from a good place. I also hope to set the mood and the vibe.”
