Casino has always loved listening to and making music, whether it was freestyling with friends while he was young, or learning that his music was truly a gift. “I didn’t really even know that I had something special until I went to college and found myself around all of these people I didn’t really know,” he explained. “People told me I had a talent that I just couldn’t waste.”

“Mm Mm Mm” came to Casino while he was at a very conflicted point in his life. “I honestly just heard the beat and was inspired.” The song focuses on the past experience that Casino has had and his feelings while in this troubling time of his life.

Though the lyricism in “Mm Mm Mm” takes a darker path, the song is lined with a sense of hopefulness. “I was in a really lonely place when I wrote this song. Hearing the beat really inspired me and gave me hope for the future,” he said. “I think that hopeful feeling really lives in the beat.”

Casino hopes that his music resonates with the people who listen to it. “Music is meant to evoke feelings and whatever it may be that people connect with, I hope that as many people as possible can find something here that they can relate to.”

“When I catch a spark of creativity, I have to follow it,” he explained. “Right now I am looking for an elevated sense of inspiration.” Casino only draws from his own feelings and experiences, currently he is on the hunt for his next big muse.
