He began a career in piano when he was only a child, and since then has been working up to the passion he now follows, Electronic music. Now, through remixes and new compositions alike, he is introducing an incredible and vast genre to as many people as he can.
Through the melding of a variety of different genres to pull fans of all kinds of music into his own style of EDM. It is with songs like his recent remix of “Ooouu (Work It)” by Lor Dae that he introduces so many to such an incredible style of music.
“The original version of “Ooouu (Work It)” was already so fun and free,” Carroll explained. “It was already getting people on their feet.” It didn’t take much for this artist to envision an Electronic version of the already energetic song.
To top it all off, his goal of sharing a new genre of music began to take off immediately as he got to share the magic of EDM and House Music with Lor Dae himself. “It was great to see my version of the song do what I set out to do with it,” Carroll said.
Diving into his own original compositions, Carroll has also recently released another song. “Under My Own Weather” is a collaboration of a Grammy Award nominated artist and a Grammy Award winning engineer/producer. “It was incredible to work with people who were operating at that level,” Carroll explained. “When the completed song finally came together it was really validating.”
“Under My Own Weather” truly showcases the skill and attention to detail that Carroll has when it comes to composition. The music is truly gorgeous and presents itself in a way that anyone, from a hardcore EDM fan to newcomer of the genre, can appreciate and enjoy.
When listening to “Under My Own Weather”, the remix of “Ooouu (Work It)” or any of Carroll’s other tracks, take the time to pay attention to the details. There are so many brilliant and intricate details that go into this music, and it is truly incredible to notice and appreciate.
Carroll has made one thing abundantly clear, his goal is to introduce EDM and House music to as many people as he can. After becoming encapsulated by the unexpected intricacies of the genre, he knew he had to dive further in. “I really liked exploring the way it made people feel and want to dance,” he explained. “It was interesting to blend genres like R&B in with Dance music and really start to break down those borders.”
Moving forward into 2023, Carroll is looking forward to his upcoming compositions and collaborations. There is truly so much that this artist has to offer, and you will not want to miss out on any of it.
